Which peptides does Awazul work with?
We work with a focused set of clinically considered peptides, including BPC-157 (studied for tissue repair and gut support), CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin (growth-hormone secretagogues that support the body’s natural GH rhythm, often discussed for recovery, sleep quality, and body composition), Tesamorelin (the most studied GH-axis peptide, FDA-approved for a specific indication and used off-label in wellness contexts), SS-31 (investigated for mitochondrial function), AOD-9604 (studied for fat metabolism), Hexarelin, and 5-Amino-1MQ (an NNMT inhibitor of research interest for metabolism). Are peptides FDA-approved? What should I know before starting?
Most therapeutic peptides used in wellness medicine are compounded, and compounded medications are not FDA-approved. The FDA actively reviews which peptide ingredients may be compounded, and that list has changed in recent years — some peptides available elsewhere are ones we have deliberately chosen not to offer. This is the part of the industry most providers skip past. We lead with it, because a physician’s job is to know the regulatory ground she’s standing on: 503A compounding pharmacies and 503B outsourcing facilities operate under different rules, certificates of analysis and third-party purity testing are non-negotiable at Awazul, and “research chemical” websites selling peptides without prescriptions are exactly what they sound like.
