Exion is a needle-free treatment designed to prompt your skin to make more of its own. It is one of the quietest appointments on our menu: warm, unhurried, and over in less time than lunch.
How ExionWorks
Two energies, one applicator
Exion, made by BTL, delivers monopolar radiofrequency and targeted ultrasound at the same moment. Radiofrequency warms the dermis evenly to a controlled temperature. Ultrasound adds gentle mechanical stimulation to the fibroblasts, the cells that produce hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin.
Why the pairing matters
In BTL’s published research, radiofrequency alone did not meaningfully raise hyaluronic acid in treated tissue. Delivered together with targeted ultrasound, it did, by as much as 224% in the manufacturer’s studies. Nothing is injected, and the skin’s surface is not broken.

Am I a candidate?
Exion suits most adults who are noticing early to moderate changes in skin hydration, texture or firmness and prefer a gradual, natural-looking result. It may not be appropriate if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, have metal implants in the treatment area, or have an active skin infection or irritation where we would be treating. Your provider reviews your health history at your Consult and will tell you directly if another treatment is a better fit.
