EmFemme 360
Non-surgical intimate wellness in Wailea
Meet EmFemme 360
Intimate tissue changes. After childbirth, through perimenopause and menopause, or simply with time, it can become drier, less elastic and less comfortable. That is physiology, and it is far more common than the silence around it suggests.
EmFemme 360 is a gentle radiofrequency treatment for intimate tissue, internal and external. At Awazul it is part of physician-led women’s health and intimate wellness care, in a private room, with a provider who has had this conversation many times before.
How ItWorks
Even warmth, all the way around
EmFemme 360, made by BTL, uses monopolar radiofrequency to warm tissue to a controlled therapeutic temperature. The internal applicator delivers that warmth around its full circumference at once, which is why the internal treatment takes about eight minutes. A separate, smaller tip treats the external tissue.
Controlled heat increases local blood flow and signals the tissue’s own repair response, in which existing collagen contracts and new collagen forms gradually over the following weeks. There are no incisions, no needles, no anesthesia and no hormones involved in the treatment itself.

What WomenAsk About
- Vaginal dryness and discomfort with intimacy
- A feeling of laxity after childbirth or with age
- Changes in sensation
- Mild bladder leakage with a cough, laugh or workout
- Changes in the appearance or firmness of the external tissue
What It IsCleared For
We would rather be exact about this than impressive. EmFemme 360 is FDA-cleared as a radiofrequency device to warm tissue for the temporary relief of pain and muscle spasms and an increase in local circulation.
Radiofrequency is used for the concerns listed here on the basis of how collagen responds to heat, and many women report improvement. These uses go beyond the device’s FDA-cleared indications, and the research behind them is still developing. Dr. G will tell you where the evidence stands for your particular concern, and whether EmFemme, another treatment, or a combination is the better fit. Individual results vary.

Am I a candidate?
EmFemme 360 may suit women who are noticing mild to moderate changes in intimate comfort, moisture, tone or sensation, including after childbirth and through perimenopause and menopause, and who want a non-surgical option. It may not be appropriate during pregnancy, with an active vaginal or urinary infection, with a pacemaker or certain implanted devices, or with some pelvic conditions. Dr. G conducts a full medical review before any treatment and will tell you directly if you are not a candidate, or if something else should be addressed first.

What PairsWell
Intimate tissue does not exist on its own. It sits on a pelvic floor and core, and it lives in a hormonal environment. Treating all three tends to hold better than treating one.
- Hormone optimization. Dryness and laxity often track with declining estrogen. Where appropriate, Dr. G may discuss local or systemic hormone therapy alongside treatment. Hormone therapy is not right for every woman, and where it isn’t, she will say so.
- truFlex for the core. Muscle stimulation to strengthen the abdominal wall that supports the pelvis.
- FemiLift. A fractional laser option for concerns that call for a different mechanism.
- Compounded topical preparations. Prescription formulations for blood flow and sensitivity. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved; we source only from licensed compounding pharmacies that provide certificates of analysis and third-party testing, and Dr. G explains the regulatory picture before you decide.
WhyAwazul
This is not a conversation to have with just anyone. Awazul Wellness is led by Dr. G, double board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in obesity medicine, and a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, one of a small number in Hawaiʻi. She oversees every intimate wellness protocol here.
That training is the difference between treating a symptom and reading the whole picture: tissue, hormones, and the stage of life underneath both. Our Wailea office is private and unhurried, and the conversation takes as long as it takes.
