During the AviClear treatment session, a laser technician will use a small laser device to target the patient’s sebaceous glands. The patient may feel mild pain or a burning sensation in sensitive areas of their skin. However, most patients say there is no need for numbing creams. The mild snapping sensations only last a few seconds, and the device has an exclusive cooling feature to improve comfort throughout the session.

It usually takes three sessions, each lasting 30 minutes, for optimal results to appear. It will be necessary to wait three to four weeks between sessions.

Getting an AviClear laser treatment requires no downtime or recovery time. You can resume normal activities right after your session. You will not need to change your skincare routine.

You may experience some mild redness or swelling after your AviClear treatment. Make sure to apply SPF 30+ sunblock every day while undergoing treatment.
