What it is We didn’t add a facial. We extended a peptide practice to the face.
Refined sponge-derived microspicules carry bonded peptides — GHK copper tripeptide, PDRN, glutathione — through the outer barrier into the epidermis and basal layer, pressed into the skin over a 30-minute protocol. Not injected. Not a peel. Not microneedling. A needle-free, minimally invasive treatment for clarity, texture, pore refinement, and the kind of luminosity people call glass skin.

In the chair
A warm 30-minute massage with a faint fizz on the skin — IDENEL calls it pop-rocks. No numbing, no needles, no blood. Some stinging while it goes on; it settles quickly.
That evening
A mild flush that fades within hours. Rinse with lukewarm water before bed. No cleanser, no makeup tonight.
Days 1–3
A light prickly awareness, most noticeable when you wash your face. Normal cleansing from day one; light makeup is fine. Skip retinoids, acids, heat, and hard workouts.
Days 3–5
The spicules shed with your skin’s own turnover over about 72 hours; some skin flakes lightly. Don’t pick. Moisturize, wear mineral SPF, and let it finish.
Treat Monday, glow Wednesday through Saturday. Arrival-day is the right day.
The after-feel is a sign the peptides are where they should be. If anything lasts past five days, call us — that’s what the physician is for.
Every client gets the aftercare sheet in hand at checkout and a consent that says all of this, so nothing here is a surprise.
How it works Delivery, not decoration.
i. Carry
Purified spicules, refined from sponge skeleton and bonded to peptides, are massaged across the skin and pass through the outer barrier.
ii. Release
In the epidermis and basal layer the peptides release where the skin can use them — not sitting on the surface, not injected below it.
iii. Renew
The skin responds over the following weeks: smoother texture, tighter-looking pores, more even tone, more light coming back off the surface.
iv. Shed
The spicules leave with your skin’s own turnover over about three to five days. Nothing stays behind.

Does it hurt?
No numbing is needed. Expect a warm, fizzy, mildly stinging sensation during the massage that fades as the protocol finishes. The reviewer who tested it independently described it as closer to exfoliation than anything with a needle.
How many sessions do I need?
The manufacturer’s protocol is three to five sessions, two to four weeks apart. We recommend the series of three, then maintenance monthly or as your skin asks for it.
Can I wear makeup afterward?
Not the day of. Light makeup is fine from day one; normal cleansing from day one. Hold retinoids, vitamin C, and acids for three days.
Is this microneedling?
No. There are no needles and no punctures. The spicules pass through the outer barrier by massage and deliver peptides into the epidermis and basal layer. We don’t compare the two, because they aren’t the same thing.
Who does the treatment?
Every provider on the Awazul team is trained on the protocol, which was sourced, vetted, and set by Dr. G. Consults are with Dr. G or a nurse.
Why is the price going up in January?
We launched in our quiet season at a founding rate to build the first Maui results library. On January 1 the standard rate is $500. If you buy a series before then, the founding rate stays yours for as long as you’re an active client.
